Discovery, Planning & Delivery Assurance
Service Summary
Practical discovery and programme reviews to test assumptions, identify delivery gaps and establish a credible route forward.
Typical Benefits
- Clearer understanding of scope, dependencies and delivery constraints.
- Greater confidence in estimates, resource needs and milestones.
- Earlier visibility of technical, business and operational readiness gaps.
- Evidence-based decisions on priorities, delivery options and next steps.
- A practical action plan with clear ownership.
Overview
I help organisations establish whether a technology programme is ready to proceed, or understand where an existing delivery approach needs strengthening.
The engagement starts with an agreed set of questions and review boundaries. I examine available documentation and work with sponsors, delivery teams, business stakeholders and suppliers to understand the current position.
I test scope assumptions, dependencies, estimates, capacity, governance and readiness requirements. Where the credible delivery requirement differs from the available budget, resources or timescales, I make the gap explicit and assess practical options with your team.
Findings are brought together into a concise assessment, prioritised recommendations and an agreed route forward. Support can include shaping a delivery baseline, replanning a defined phase or reviewing progress at key milestones.
The timetable is agreed around the scope, complexity and availability of information and stakeholders. Assignments can be a focused review or a series of periodic assurance checkpoints.

Available Service Engagement Model
Project Based Engagement
Project based engagements operate on the basis of agreeing work and any outcomes or milestones for delivery in advance of commencement of any engagement in a ‘Statement of Work’. Prices are fixed for the agreed deliverables and should changes be required, these may incur changes to delivery costs. Payment for Project Based Engagements are agreed on a case-by-case basis, giving consideration to risk, contract value, client payment history, relationship longevity and duration.
