Practical leadership of complex technology migrations and separations, coordinating dependencies, readiness and cutover through to operational handover.
Typical Benefits
- Migration sequencing aligned with technical, business and operational readiness.
- Clear ownership of dependencies across applications, infrastructure, networks and suppliers.
- Earlier identification of gaps that could disrupt cutover or business operations.
- Informed go/no-go decisions supported by readiness evidence.
- Coordinated execution, stabilisation and handover to operational teams.
Overview
I lead the coordination and delivery of application and infrastructure migrations, data centre exits and technology separations following M&A transactions.
Working with your technical specialists, business stakeholders, operational teams and suppliers, I establish the migration scope, dependencies, constraints and responsibilities. This includes identifying services and integration points that must continue across organisational boundaries after separation.
I structure delivery into achievable waves or stages, aligning the sequence with complexity, capacity and overall readiness. Where deadlines or circumstances change, I assess practical options with the team and take recommendations through stakeholder approval.
For cutover, I coordinate the integrated plan, rehearsals where appropriate, readiness reviews, communications, escalation routes and contingency arrangements. Execution is followed by agreed validation, stabilisation and operational handover.
Support can cover the full transition or a defined phase. Duration, time commitment and cutover coverage are agreed around the scope and delivery schedule.

Project based engagements operate on the basis of agreeing work and any outcomes or milestones for delivery in advance of commencement of any engagement in a ‘Statement of Work’. Prices are fixed for the agreed deliverables and should changes be required, these may incur changes to delivery costs. Payment for Project Based Engagements are agreed on a case-by-case basis, giving consideration to risk, contract value, client payment history, relationship longevity and duration.
