The Situation

A nationwide technology organisation was confronted with increasing ransomware threats with no plan, tools, or staff in place to combat them. Its intellectual property, as well as that of its customers, was at stake.

The Task

Layer7 stepped in and engaged Cybility, a UK-based cybersecurity advisory consultancy, to carry out a full assessment.

The Action / Approach

With careful attention to detail and an engaging approach, our team conducted a gap analysis against the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) v1.1.

Through active listening during stakeholder interviews, we ascertained the organisation’s cybersecurity maturity.

Our findings were presented graphically, pinpointed strengths and areas for growth.

The Result

The outcome? A clear understanding of vulnerabilities; our dedication didn’t end there.

We further enhanced their risk and incident management, charted roadmaps, and offered mentorship, ensuring the organisation’s precious data was better protected.
