DLG Modernises Workplace and Relocates HQ in Multi‑Site Transformation Programme
The Situation
Situation
Direct Line Group needed to move from a fragmented, outdated Bromley HQ to a modern, experience‑led London environment. The existing workplace, technology estate and governance processes were no longer fit for purpose, and the business wanted to re‑energise colleagues post‑COVID while improving leadership visibility and collaboration.

Throughout, I challenged design decisions where they compromised experience or safety, and aligned architects, IT, facilities and AV partners through structured cross‑functional planning.
The Result
The organisation moved from a legacy, siloed environment to a modern, flexible workplace delivered on schedule. Costs were reduced through asset reuse and contract exit, user experience improved through behaviour‑led design, and adoption increased due to simplicity and inclusivity. Governance uplift created financial clarity and prevented over‑ordering, giving leadership confidence in delivery and spend
