Culture Shift - Aligning Performance, Leadership, and Wellbeing
The Situation
A law firm partnership was experiencing high performance but rising pressure on wellbeing, with inconsistent leadership behaviours affecting culture and sustainability.
I was introduced via a senior partner who had attended a leadership session I delivered and saw relevance to the firm’s challenges.
The Task
The Partnership Conference Committee engaged me to strengthen leadership culture across the partnership, aligning performance expectations with sustainable ways of working.
The Action / Approach
I used the BRITE framework to assess team effectiveness and identify the leadership habits shaping energy, resilience, and performance before delivering a keynote presentation at their annual conference.
We worked with partners to embed practical shifts in how they led teams, communicated expectations, and managed workload and recovery.
The Result
One year later, the firm enjoyed a 27% improvement in team effectiveness scores, a measurable reduction in burnout indicators, and improved client delivery consistency.
“Richard brought a level of clarity and practicality that made change feel both possible and immediate.”
