Develop Cyber Security Posture for Agile Software Development House
The Situation
Digi2al is a specialist Agile Software Development House, focussing on providing services to the UK MOD and Central Government.
They required a review of their Cyber Security posture, including accreditation, policies, and contractual terms.
The Task
Review current operations to assess security baseline
Review existing security documentation
Obtain renewal of Cyber Essentials + accreditation.
The Action / Approach
Reviewed existing operations – Cloud based services – and wrote Security Policy and Disaster Recovery Policy to cover all aspects of operations.
Reviewed existing contracts against ICO roles of data controller and data processor
Revised other supporting documentation such as End User Device Agreement.
The Result
New Information Security policy and supporting procedures implemented
Successful re-accreditation of Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+)
Improved security posture.
