The Situation

The business needed to divest one of the customer facing segments. This was during a period of turbulent change and internal / external scrutiny.

Create and deliver an engagement approach for all stakeholders to protect the reputation and manage colleague experience.

Developed the stakeholder heatmap and approach.
Created the core narrative, questions, material, and activities as a countdown plan.
Worked with the acquiring parties to align messages and timing and managed TUPE activities.
Coached Exec and made sure leaders were equipped for each milestone and planned the activity they needed to complete.
Supported their desired outcome to manage the colleague experience carefully and fairly so they had a positive experience.

Stakeholders were briefed in sequence and there was no adverse external press / partner reaction.
Colleagues were briefed and there was a smooth handover to the new owners.
Recommendation and endorsement from CEO and Exec team.
