Prettylittlething was experiencing rapid e-commerce and international growth, creating significant demands on its technology platforms, delivery capability, warehouse operations and organisation. Technology needed to scale quickly while retaining the pace and entrepreneurial culture that had supported the company’s growth.

Progressing from Head of Project Delivery to IT Director, I was responsible for building the technology capability, platforms and operating model required to support growth and increasing organisational complexity.

Scaled the technology organisation approximately fivefold, building engineering and technology capability while introducing the structure and governance required for a rapidly growing business. Led development of the proprietary e-commerce platform, major warehouse automation and technology supporting international expansion and supply chain operations. Embedded agile delivery practices and strengthened technology governance while maintaining a strong focus on speed and outcomes.

Built a technology organisation of more than 100 people capable of supporting a rapidly scaling international e-commerce business. Established scalable digital and operational platforms, enabled international expansion and warehouse automation, and evolved technology from a small delivery function into a strategic capability supporting the company’s growth.
