Making contractor payments and project milestones visible in one place
The Situation
At E.ON Drive Infrastructure (UK), EV charging projects were under delivery pressure. Milestones and contractor payments were tracked in different places, so finance and delivery often had different pictures of the same project, and engineers and contractors waited for payment.
The Task
Give finance and delivery one shared, reliable view of project progress and payments, so approvals and payments could follow the work without chasing.
The Action / Approach
Built a milestone tracker in Sitetracker covering deliverables across all stakeholders. Worked with the finance team to align approvals with milestones. Streamlined payment tracking in Business Central so outstanding and completed payments were visible at a glance, and reconciled the outstanding balances.
The Result
Finance and delivery worked from the same picture. Engineers and contractors were paid promptly once work was signed off, outstanding balances were reconciled, and payment questions no longer needed a chase through emails.
