The Situation

 

The EMEA Managing Director for Transaction Monitoring & Sanctions Investigation Operations and his team did not feel they should conform to the Global strategy to implement Actimize as Case Management system.  They were of the opinion that local and EMEA processes and systems were inherently different to the rest of world.

 

 

 

The Task

As Global Programme Manager for Ops change, it was my role to implement Actimize globally.

The Action / Approach

‘Perception is Reality’; – I have always borne this in mind when trying to change the opinion or reality of others.  To do this I try to use as much factual data/actual reality as possible to convince the other party of my right/their wring.

In this case I created a business case for Actimize implementation in EMEA & Germany working together with the IT teams and third party vendor
