The Situation

The client was embarking on a major transformation programme to replace many of their old systems with a new ERP. The CIO was aware that creating an effective Integration Service was key to delivering this major change.

The Task

The CIO brought Wheeve in to set up the service, work with suppliers to ensure that technical delivery was robust and implement new working practices. The Wheeve team had to create and implement a lot of change to current processes. There was a lot of internal resistance to both the ERP implementation and the integration concepts.

The Action / Approach

We implemented a change programme that kept people informed and delivered on the promise. It was a tough challenge but the team and processes were delivered. We worked within an Agile process and spent a lot of time coaching the team. We ran workshops with the new team and ensured that all of IT were aware of the changes. We introduced the new team to similar teams in other organisations so that they could learn from each other.

The Result

The team was delivered and coached in their respective roles. The processes are still in operation and are delivering for the IT department.
