Project Overview
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with potential clients and ultimately responsible for generating a pipeline of new business revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will be proactive and KPI-driven, able to build lasting relationships and have a consultative approach to demand generation and business development.
Role Description
Responsibilities:
Lead Qualification: Follow up on automatically qualified leads (AQLs) to assess their suitability and potential as sales opportunities. Work closely with the marketing team to refine lead qualification criteria.
Opportunity Development: Engage with prospects via outbound dialling, email communications, and LinkedIn to develop relationships and understand their business needs.
Meeting Scheduling: Schedule qualified prospects for meetings with the Business Development Management team, ensuring a smooth transition from AQL to the Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) stage.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and lead progression within our CRM system (Hubspot) as well as ongoing data enrichment through prospect research.
Intelligence-Led Demand Generation: Utilise data and insights to inform outreach strategies and tailor messaging to resonate with target prospects through sequencing and contact cadence activities.
Multi-Channel Engagement: Employ a multi-channel approach to business development, leveraging various platforms and methods to reach and engage potential clients.
Qualifications/Experience:

Proven experience (1-3 years minimum) in a business development or sales role in a B2B environment, preferably within the technology sector.

Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot, and experience with demand generation activities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with prospects.

Self-motivated and proactive, with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs.

Working with a multi-channel approach, including phone, email, and LinkedIn.

Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to optimise engagement strategies.

Understanding of prospect qualification frameworks such as BANT
