Interim Test Analyst – GIST Programme

Engagement Type: Full Time

Remote/On-Site/Hybrid: Remote (with limited UK travel)

Opportunity Duration: 12 months until September 2025

Project Overview

To provide Test Analyst services to enable the delivery of the GIST Programme. This role involves creating comprehensive test scripts, performing test execution, defect raising and management. Also, working closely with SMEs/End Users regarding all aspects

of their testing, and ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement to support the successful implementation of testing activities.

Role Description

Responsibilities:

Test Planning/Scripting

• Develop and maintain test scripts in line with Business Requirements. 

• Identify and/or create Regression test scripts. 

• Results in a comprehensive and up-to-date detailed library of test scripts

Test Approach

• Support and feed into the Test Manager/Test Coordinator in developing the test approach

• Results in a comprehensive Test Approach document are in place. 

Test Execution 

• Thorough hands-on-text execution

• Identify and involve programme team members, process owners, and business stakeholders in testing activities. 

• Results in adherence to testing timelines, and quality testing. 

Test Resource 

• Contribute to the detailed resource plan for testing. 

• Results in a tested and accepted set of user stories in a timely manner to support the release schedule. 

Test Reporting

• Reporting test results and findings. 

• Use test dashboards to provide insights into test quality and track statuses, results and findings. 

• Up-to-date test dashboards to support stakeholder communication and programme management 

Defect Resolution

• Support defect management during test execution. 

• Results in timely and accurate defect management. 

Test Acceptance

• Support test acceptance with appropriate Process Owner escalation/delegation to SMO where needed. 

• Results in fully accepted test scripts to support each release. 

Overall Testing Service

• Execution of all levels of testing 

• Supporting the Test Manager/Test Coordinator to ensure the timely delivery of a fully tested solution. 

• Results in a fully tested solution with assistance in the creation of the supporting documentation.

Qualifications/Experience:

Test Execution/Planning 

• Proven experience in executing and planning all test levels across a variety of challenging capabilities.

Testing Knowledge

• Strong experience testing for multiple project delivery models, including agile 

• Strong ServiceNow experience.
