As we step into an exciting new year, HiveMind Network is focused on creating exceptional opportunities for our expert community and delivering world class experiences for our clients.

One of the significant investments we’re making in 2025 is in our new Executive Briefing Program, designed to amplify the voices and expertise of our network while delivering high-value insights to C-Suite leaders across diverse markets.

Our initial focus is on six critical capability areas of High Performance IT and the key challenges and opportunities for today’s enterprises.

This is a cornerstone of High Performance IT organisations success and we are seeking dynamic, knowledgeable experts to lead these Executive Briefings, showcasing their thought leadership to senior executives in our network and the wider market. This is a unique platform to:

Role Description
As an Executive Briefing Speaker, you will be expected to deliver impactful presentations on the following core areas:

1. Talent Acquisition & Retention

  • Deliver expert insights into proactive talent acquisition strategies, helping organisations identify and attract top talent through innovative sourcing, employer branding, and recruitment processes.

  • Share best practices for employee retention strategies, focusing on building a culture that promotes loyalty, job satisfaction, and long-term engagement.

  • Discuss the value of career development programs that empower employees to grow within the organisation, while aligning their personal growth with business goals.

  • Explore techniques for employee satisfaction management, emphasizing engagement surveys, feedback loops, and creating a positive work environment that enhances retention.

2. Talent & Skill Development

  • Discuss the importance of continuous employee development and how organisations can build frameworks that foster lifelong learning and professional growth.

  • Address the need for aligning skill development programs with business needs, ensuring that the workforce is equipped to meet current and future challenges.

  • Highlight the role of upskilling programs in developing emerging skills, such as digital transformation, leadership, and technical expertise, to prepare employees for new roles and responsibilities.

  • Advocate for regular skills assessments to identify gaps, monitor progress, and tailor development initiatives to maximize workforce potential and business impact.

3. Effective IT Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Provide thought leadership on how to align IT procurement strategies with broader business objectives, ensuring that purchases support organisational goals and innovation.

  • Share best practices for vendor performance monitoring and management, helping organisations track key performance indicators (KPIs), service-level agreements (SLAs), and vendor relationships.

  • Discuss strategies for cost optimization and efficient contract management, offering practical advice on negotiating favorable terms and maximizing the value derived from procurement investments.

  • Explore risk management in vendor selection and procurement processes, addressing how to evaluate vendors, mitigate potential risks, and ensure long-term business continuity.

  • Promote the importance of long-term vendor relationships and collaborative partnerships, highlighting the benefits of establishing strategic alliances that foster innovation, value, and mutual growth.

4. Partnership Ecosystem Development

  • Provide strategic insights on building and nurturing a robust partnership ecosystem that aligns with business goals, driving value through collaboration and shared innovation.

  • Explore the key components of a successful partnership strategy, including identifying potential partners, co-developing products or services, and expanding market reach through external alliances.

  • Discuss the importance of strategic alliances with technology, business, and research partners that can bring complementary expertise, capabilities, and access to new markets.

  • Highlight best practices in managing cross-organisational relationships, ensuring transparent communication, mutual benefit, and alignment with business objectives.

  • Advocate for a win-win mindset in partnerships, focusing on long-term growth, scalability, and sustained value from joint ventures, co-marketing, and other collaborative initiatives.

  • Discuss the role of partnerships in digital transformation, leveraging external expertise, technologies, and resources to accelerate innovation and stay competitive in a fast-changing market.
