Role Description

As an Executive Briefing Speaker, you will be expected to deliver impactful presentations on the following core areas:

Cyber Security Strategy & Posture

• Present comprehensive approaches for creating a cyber security strategy that aligns with business objectives and risk profiles.

• Discuss proactive threat management techniques, highlighting the importance of early threat detection, response, and mitigation.

• Educate audiences on the value of regular security audits and continuous monitoring to assess and improve security posture.

• Showcase how organisations can align security initiatives with business strategy to ensure that cybersecurity is an enabler of business success, rather than a roadblock.

Zero Trust Architecture

• Lead discussions on the principles of Zero Trust Architecture and how organisations can move toward minimal trust zones in their IT environments.

• Explain the importance of continuous verification of users, devices, and systems to ensure secure access to critical resources.

• Discuss how automation of threat response can improve security posture and reduce response time to emerging threats.

• Present best practices in secure access management, focusing on role-based access controls, authentication mechanisms, and policy enforcement.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Deliver insights on establishing a comprehensive compliance framework, ensuring that organisations meet regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.) while managing security risks.

• Explain how proactive risk management helps organisations identify, assess, and mitigate cyber risks before they become significant issues.

• Demonstrate the importance of integrating risk management with corporate governance, ensuring that security considerations are embedded at all levels of decision-making.

• Lead discussions on continuous risk assessment, emphasizing the need for regular security reviews, threat modeling, and penetration testing to stay ahead of evolving threats.

Secure by Design

• Advocate for the principle of security embedded into design, ensuring that security is an integral part of the development lifecycle from the outset.

• Discuss proactive security measures that should be taken during system design, including threat modeling, secure coding practices, and privacy considerations.

• Promote the value of continuous testing throughout development, including vulnerability assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing to identify weaknesses before they are exploited.

• Illustrate how security integration with development processes, such as DevSecOps, can ensure that security is continuously maintained across all stages of software development and deployment.
