Bio:Nicholas is an ethical technologist, educator and writer with 30 years experience as a process and user focused expert in technology project delivery across all sectors. A generalist with a deep practical knowledge of data and information systems and the governance of them, he has led teams through many interesting, complex projects. With the increased availability of AI, recent focus is on the ethics of data governance and societal impact.
Nicholas has sat on the University of Strathclydes ethics committee for 11 years and is currently writing a, hopefully very accessible book, on Data, Ethics and the Impact of AI.
