I’ve been on some really poor video conferences recently. Here’s a few anti-patterns I’ve observed:
The ‘through the keyhole’ look – dude, don’t stand so close to the camera!
Peek-a-boo – yes, I kid you not, this happens regularly…
The Gallows – the bodiless composition.
Anonymous – that silhouette effect normally as a result of having a window as a backdrop.
Pass the salt please – sat so far away from the camera if it was a massive dining room table passing the salt would be a real nightmare.
